MISSION #2- JELLYFISH
Jellyfish are such amazing creatures to watch swim around in the ocean but try not to get too close! Jellyfish range in size from larger then a human to as tiny as a pinhead. Some jellyfish have millions of small stinging cells in their tentacles called nematocysts. These cells are used to capture food by injecting toxins into the prey. When we are stung it hurts because of the toxin traveling through our skin. OUCH! Explore the websites below and watch the helpful jellyfish video, in order to learn more about jellyfish. Be sure to include as much information as possible on your information boards!
