MISSION #3- DOLPHINS
Look!! I’m getting a kiss from a dolphin! Dolphins are really friendly
animals when they are trained. Trained dolphins can do some humanly things
such as sing, dance and listen to commands from trainers. Dolphins are mammals,
and they give birth to live young and they nurse them with milk just like
humans! Dolphins can stay under water for up to 15 minutes and they breathe
through a blowhole on top of their heads. Dolphins are almost as big as sharks
and they have a layer of fat called blubber that keeps them warm when the water
gets really cold. Use the resources below to find more interesting facts about these friendly animals!
